how to add a cfl column to a matrix showing user table data

hello all,

can anybody point us to a recent code sample ( c# / vb ) showing step by step how to add a ChooseFromList Column to a custom matrix?

we are showing a user table content in a user form with a matrix.

we'd like to give end users the chance to pick a value from a sap b1 table ( eg. oitd ) and put it in a column of our user table.

sdk documentation and code samples are so outdated the can't really help us.

by now we are stuck, any help appreciated.

this is utterly frustrating.
